FAMILY'S HELPING HAND - TEFAP PROVIDER | FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER GUTTENBERG MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL CAMPUS

Family's Helping Hand is a non profit that operates out of the Family Resource Center to assist families and bridge gaps that will directly lead to better outcomes for families. Some of the resources Family’s Helping Hand can provide are a mini food pantry including formula/baby food, clothes closet, and household and hygiene supplies. Volunteer opportunities are available. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.

General public with financial need in Clayton County; TEFAP eligibility is income based (combined household incomes below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL); access has expanded beginning June 2020 from the previous eligibility level of 185% FPL
