Elderly and Disabled Housing Repair Program | City of Sioux City

Assists income eligible seniors and disabled Sioux City homeowners who are in need of home repairs.

The program typically provides repairs to, but not limited to, the following:

- Electrical.

- Plumbing.

- Repairing roofs and soffits.

- Repairing masonry and concrete.

- Repairing porches.

- Furnishing and installing gutters and downspouts.

- Installing energy efficient doors.

- Renovating bathrooms.

- Widening interior doorways.

- Replacing door and window hardware.

- Installing grab bars or railings.

- Relocating laundry facilities to the main level.
