Required documents

For rent and utility help must have a Letter of Decision from General Assistance or Local DHS office, Proof of income for the last 90 days (food stamps and FIP also), Utility Bill disconnect notice, Photo ID for the head of household, SS cards, other documents by request, all other members of the household must have an ID with a name and a birth date, school ID's ok if it is the current year, do not need G.A. paperwork for clothing help

Description

Helps those who need assistance with rent, utilities, and clothing. Funds are intended for dire need situations and when no other community resource is available to meet the need. All financial help is by Appointment only. ***Call the 4th Tue of the month to set up an appointment.


Rent Assistance: must have Letter of Decision from General Assistance, cannot reside in a transition housing program, cannot have received financial assistance from IMPACT in the last 12 months, cannot have received material assistance from The Salvation Army in the last 12 months.

Clothing Help: assistance will be in the form of vouchers for either work/interview clothing, back to school clothing, or clothing in general for someone who is homeless.

Utility Financial Assistance: must have a disconnect notice to get financial assistance for a utility bill, cannot have received financial assistance from IMPACT in the last 12 months, cannot have received material assistance from The Salvation Army in the last 12 months.
