Students must be between the ages of 16 and 21 have a documented vocational disadvantaging condition independently care for personal needs; No evidence of violent activity within the last 90 days; Maladaptive social behavior must be under reasonable control to prevent interference with program/agency operations; IQ must be in excess of 36

Description

Offers students nearing the completion of high school an opportunity to gain exposure to work situations. Work Experience Trainers work with students and assign them jobs with the Goodwill organization. Trainers monitor students' progress throughout the school year and work with parents, guardians and teachers to ensure the student develops skills necessary to be successful on the job. Students earn minimum wage while participating in the program.
