Eligibility
Open to anyone at imminent risk of homelessness, or is at risk of losing housing within the next 14–30 days, individuals must have received an eviction, foreclosure, or utility shut-off notice, individuals must reside within the service area (e.g., Nebraska or Iowa), must have income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI), priority given to households with 50% AMI or lower, a household or individual qualifies under category 1 if they lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, this includes living in a place not meant for human habitation, streets, cars, parks, abandoned buildings, bus or train stations, campgrounds, living in emergency shelters or transitional housing, emergency shelters (including domestic violence shelters), transitional housing programs for people who were homeless before entry, exiting an institution, individuals coming from hospitals, jails, or other institutions where they stayed 90 days or less and were living in a shelter or place not meant for human habitation right before entering the institution

Photo ID, social security card, ITIN, or IRS tax document, lease (for rental requests), notice (e.g., 3-day, 7-day, or 14-day notice) or a ledger/statement from landlord showing balance owed, client may also upload a court summons if available, approval Letter from Landlord (for deposit requests), utility bill (for utility requests
bill must be in applicant’s name), proof of hardship (e.g., letter from employer, paycheck stub, bank statements, medical statement), proof of income (e.g., paystubs, unemployment compensation, child support, bank statements, Social Security, SSDI), proof of sustainability
