Eligibility

Open to families with children ages 17 and under that they are related or legal guardians for, adults must provide direct care and supervision for minor children, families must be able to independently walk, or otherwise transport to the shelter location

Description

Offers an overnight shelter for families with children ages 17 and under starting November 3rd, 2025, through April 3rd, 2026. First-come first-served basis. Sleeping space is shared with other families from 8 pm-7:30 am, assigned beds with limited privacy. Individuals must go to the screening location, 307 South Neil Street, Champaign, IL each night between 7 pm-7:30 pm to determine eligibility and approval.
