Photo ID, Social Security cards for all household members, a copy of their most recent heating and electric bill, and proof of all household members' gross income for the past 3 months or past calendar year

LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) is a federally-funded program that helps income eligible households pay for a portion of their heating bills during the winter months. Applications are accepted November 1 – April 30. For elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline. 

May also be considered for the weatherization program if LIHEAP eligible.

**This program is not designed to pay a household's total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.
