CONSERVATION EDUCATION PROGRAMS | CLAYTON COUNTY CONSERVATION

The Osborne Conservation Education Center provides educational programs to schools and other groups. Educational topics cover the areas of nature, environmental concerns, conservation and Iowa history. The Center can provide programs for groups of individuals with physical and mental disabilities. The Center also offers a monthly program, OWLS (Older, Wiser, and Lively Souls), directed to retirement age individuals. Topics include forestry, wildlife, tours, crafts, etc.. This program runs March through November.

Call ahead if coming to the Center with a group wanting personal services

Fee

None or nominal cost for many programs. Group tours from out of county are normally $2 per person. The OWLS monthly session is $5 per person plus a small fee for lunch.

General public primarily in the nearby areas of Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, Winneshiek Counties in Iowa and Crawford and Grant Counties in Wisconsin (no specific geographic restrictions)
