Monetary assistance for purchasing specialized telecommunications equipment which may include computer conversion packages, amplified phones, TTY/TT, telephone amplifier, telephone ring signals, CapTel ('Captioned Telephone') and voice carry-over (VCO)-TT; must meet the professional certification of impairment guidelines to be eligible for assistance; there are no income guidelines. Upon approval of the application, a voucher is issued and the applicant can purchase compliant equipment at any location.
