DISABILITY RIGHTS SERVICES | POLK COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND DISABILITY SERVICES
Responsible for developing and overseeing a community based system of services for Polk County residents with disabilities. Promotes full citizenship for people with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or developmental disabilities. Partners with community agencies, people with disabilities, their families, and the community to promote improved health care.
*Advocates for clients' rights and educates larger community to increase acceptance and full participation within the community.
