QUAD CITIES AREA TAX PREPARATION | QUAD CITIES EARNED INCOME TAX COALITION

Provides free income tax return preparation for taxpayers earning up to $64,000 annually. Helps working families take advantage of all eligible tax credits, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit (CTC) and education credits. Volunteers from the community help prepare basic, current-year tax returns for eligible taxpayers.

Starting January 2024, tax preparation is offered primarily in-person by appointment, with an option for walk-in services at the Martin Luther King Community Center.

Appointments for in-person filing are made online only beginning January 17, 2024. To schedule an appointment (online only), visit https://bit.ly/VitaUWQC - Appointments are available from February 1st through April 12th. (Hours vary by location)

Walk-in services at the MLK Center are available from February 3rd through April 6th. (Tue, Wed, Thu 5 pm-8 pm, Sat 9 am-12 pm)

Prior year's tax return if filed; Driver's license or photo ID; Social Security cards or ITIN for everyone in the household; All tax forms (W-2, 1099, child care forms, etc.); Health insurance documentation; Account numbers for electronic deposit of refund; Spouse must be present if filing jointly (or let tax site know if spouse is unable to attend)
