JAIL DIVERSION PROGRAM | OPTIMAE LIFESERVICES - CENTRAL IOWA REGION
Jail diversion program for adults with a mental illness. The purpose of the program is to minimize the number of mentally ill individuals in jail by providing supportive services during incarceration followed by community-based treatment upon release. Services include, but not limited too, assistance with obtaining benefits, transportation and coordination of care. Staff will accompany individuals to needed appointments as an added support.
