HOMELESS EDUCATION LIAISON | DAVENPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
Liaison works directly with school counselors to identify students who meet the definition of homeless through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act. Students who meet this definition are eligible for services that include help enrolling in school, transportation assistance when feasible, free school meals (breakfast and lunch), school supplies and school clothing, academic support, and when requested, referrals to community support services to support students and their families.
