Persons who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who are new mothers and infants and children ages birth through 4 years, applicants must meet income eligibility, have a health or nutrition need, and be residents of Iowa (U.S. Citizenship is not required to be eligible for WIC)

Provides the supplemental food program for income eligible pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding women, infants and children ages birth through 4 years. WIC provides nutrition assessment and education, food or infant formula to help meet a family’s food needs, and breastfeeding support.
