Anyone who wants to know if they may be eligible for SNAP (formerly known as food stamps), or anyone who is eligible and would like further assistance

Required documents

Knowledge of current income amount if possible, gather for everyone in the household: SSNs, paycheck stubs, unearned income information (i.e. SS, SSI, worker’s comp, child support, disability payments), and utility bills

Description

Increases awareness of public benefits to emergency food recipients, provides assistance to new applicants and help determining eligibility, provides assistance for current recipient recertification, and works alongside agencies to continue outreach efforts.

(A household is anyone/everyone who purchases food and prepares meals together more than 90% of the time)
