In Home Care | CHELP

For Illinois Department of Aging (IDOA) In-Home Service, persons must meet four requirements:

• Be 60 years of age or older
• Have some physical disability
• Live in Macon County
• Have less than $17,500 in assets beyond their home, car, and possessions

Disabled adults are eligible to receive this service if they are under 60 and the degree of disability and income level meet the DRS eligibility guidelines; Must be a client of DRS referred to CHELP for in-home services; Also licensed with IDPH to provide Private Pay in home services for a fee
