WOMEN, INFANT, AND CHILDREN PROGRAM (WIC) | DEKALB COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WIC helps meet the nutritional needs through health and nutrition assessments and education, food vouchers to participating stores, and breastfeeding support. Many working families as well as those who receive SNAP benefits also qualify for WIC services.
Also provides Nurse Case Managers that help income eligible women and their children to obtain healthcare services. Also provides other assistance they may need to have a healthy pregnancy, and promote the child's healthy development.
