Provides nutritious supplemental food from USDA to seniors 60 years of age and older. Participants must meet income guidelines.

CSFP does not provide all the food a person needs. It provides supplemental food with good sources of nutrients which may be lacking in the diets of the participants

Provides food and diaper distribution services to Center for People cardholders. The program aims to support individuals, including elderly people aged 60 and older who meet income eligibility requirements, by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods. Nutrition education may also be provided to promote healthier eating habits.

Provides supplemental food and nutrition education for the elderly ages 60 and over at no cost. Available foods include bottles juice, canned fruits and vegetables, hot and cold cereals, cheese, peanut butter, beans, pastas, shelf stable 1% milk and powdered milk.

Also covers the Jasper County area.

Delivers a supplemental box of non-perishable food each month for seniors or disabled individuals.

The program is operated in connection with CAPWN (Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska).

Distributes commodities of food and non-food items.

Provides monthly delivery or onsite pick-up of USDA commodity foods to income-eligible seniors.

Provides participants with a referral to a monthly nutrition food package program to assist them in obtaining an adequate diet and to help stretch available food dollars. Foods available: canned meats; juices; vegetables and fruits; cold and hot cereals; peanut butter, rice, macaroni, spaghetti, UHT and non fat dry milk, and cheese.

Delivery available for the homebound.
