Decorah Lutheran Church hosts the Decorah Community Meal, usually the second Thursdays of the month. There is time for fellowship with old friends and a chance to meet new ones. The meals are furnished by area restaurants, local churches, organizations and businesses. The steering committee of the Decorah Community Meal is made up of representatives from area churches and members of the Decorah Community.

Food is used as a connector to highlight the similarities between our culinary heritage and our journeys in America.
