Abuse and Crisis Intervention Shelter | Domestic/Sexual Assault Outreach Center

Provides a crisis-based shelter offering comprehensive support to victims and their children fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, stalking, and other violent crimes. The shelter operates 24/7 and provides free, confidential services including crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, information, education, referrals, counseling, support groups, court advocacy, medical advocacy, transportation, and assistance with basic needs such as food, clothing, personal hygiene supplies, and laundry. Child advocacy and housing location support are also available.

The shelter incorporates prevention programs that educate adults and children on recognizing inappropriate behavior, avoiding sexual assault, and responding to potential threats. Additionally, domestic violence intervention programs are provided for offenders to address the tactics of power and control, understand the damaging effects of their actions, and develop healthy relationship skills through classes, group sessions, or victim panels.
