Weatherization is an individualized and comprehensive program approach to help residents save fuel and money by addressing air leakage and furnace issues. The program ultimately makes a home more airtight, safe, efficient, and comfortable and may include sealing cracks, insulating attics and walls, repairing doors and windows, and minor window repair and/or replacement.

Furnaces may be examined, cleaned and tuned, repaired, retrofitted, and in some cases, replaced.

LIHEAP (low income home energy assistance program) is a federally-funded program that helps income eligible households pay for a portion of their heating bills during the winter months. Applications are accepted November 1 - April 30. For elderly or disabled individuals applications are accepted starting October 1. Income must fall within 200% of poverty guideline.

May also be considered for the weatherization program if LIHEAP eligible.

**This program is not designed to pay a household's total energy costs. The program will provide supplemental assistance based on several factors. This is a one-time payment to your energy provider.
