Eligibility for the programs is determined by family composition, income, arrest history, past participation in Federally subsidized programs and monies owed to the Agency or other Federally subsidized programs. Approximately 3,000 households are served through Section 8 programs The application process can take 6 months to 4 years. Callers are welcome to call monthly to check if the waiting list is open.
