Veterans must be services connected and approved to reside in the program by VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care Systems. Expected stay is six months.

Veterans Transition in Place provides scattered site housing for male or female veterans who are experiencing homelessness and problems with mental illness, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorders. Upon graduation, veterans retain lease of rental.

Transitions provides independent living apartments and case management for transition age young adults, 18-24, who are experiencing homelessness and problems with substance abuse, mental illness, or co-occurring disorders.

Transitions II provides rental assistance for small families where a parent is experiencing homelessness and problems with serious mental illness, substance abuse, or co-occurring disorder.

Glide transitional housing in scattered site apartments in addition to case management services is provided for single, homeless adults over 19 years of age who have substance use and mental health disorders.

Permanent housing is a housing and case management service for single, homeless adults over 19 years of age who have substance use and mental health disorders.

Some assistance may be available for small amounts of rent due. Other grant sources may be able to assist for longer time periods those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

To receive help, funds must be available, and individuals must qualify according to grant requirements. Within certain programs, case management services and life skill classes are offered.

Youth are provided with a subsidized house/apartment and work with a case manager to reduce homelessness or unsafe living conditions and to achieve permanent housing. Supportive Housing serves both single youth as well as pregnant and/or parenting youth. Youth can remain in Supportive Housing for up to 24 months.

Dresser Court is a twenty-six unit, subsidized apartment complex that provides permanent housing with intensive on-site programs and services for people with disabilities and a history of chronic homelessness.

Offers site-based permanent housing to adults living with a disabling condition (primarily HIV). Individuals living in permanent housing are afforded case management, advocacy, and other supportive services.
