The Short Years Diaper Bank is available to any Madison, Warren, or Marion County family whose income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level,. Proof of residency is required. Diaper pick up is once a month. Registration is required each month. 50 diapers per child will be given. Only the parent or legal guardian may request diapers. We cannot accommodate requests for specific brands of diapers. Diapers are available for children ages birth through three. Children age four and older are generally not eligible.

Provides up to $150 to families for utilities, diapers, groceries, gas for vehicles, and other needs.

Early education and family support program free to all families with children prenatal to kindergarten entry. Parent educators provide home visits, developmental screenings, and resource and referral for early childhood resources in Harrison County. GetTogether meetings offered 12 or more times a year.

Bright Beginnings program for Harrison County families prenatally and with children under the age of three.

Child passenger safety program provides seat checks and education regarding car seats.

Choice pantry which allows people, once every 30 days, to pick out groceries for themselves and their families

Three- to four-days' worth of food is provided and can include vegetables and fruits, spaghetti, soup, crackers, peanut butter, canned chili or meats, macaroni and cheese, packaged noodle dishes, cereal, bread, meat, and other miscellaneous donated items.

Personal hygiene items are available when in stock for those seeking such.


Infant diapers, Adult diapers and incontinence items, and baby layettes available upon request. The layettes contain basic items needed for a newborn, e.g., blankets, onesies, diapers, wipes, lotion, soap and shampoo, bibs, burp clothes, and one or two outfits of clothing. Availability dependent on donations.

Drive-thru-only pantry held two Saturdays each month, and a pop-up outdoor pantry each Monday (food only). Offers perishable and non-perishable items, fresh produce, cleaning supplies, diapers, and laundry detergent washing sheets for 20 loads of laundry.

For Thanksgiving 2025, Thanksgiving pantry is Thu, Nov 20, starting 10 am.

For Christmas 2025, Christmas pantry is Mon, Dec 22, starting 11 am.

Senior Hygiene Closet available for individuals 55+.

Offers clothing (for ages 0-2 years), diapers, wipes, formula, and linens. To receive free items must enroll in closet program (photo i.d. and intake form required). Emergency help also available.

Offering a food pantry that can be used once every 30 days for non-perishable items as well as produce, dairy, frozen meats, and bread items. Story County residents can utilize The Market once per week for perishable refrigerated items such as dairy products, meat, pre-made salads, and pre-packaged items as well as fresh produce, and breads/bakery items.

The Family Pantry is also available for use once every 30 days and offers hygiene items, diapers/pullups, wipes, toilet paper, soaps and cleaners, and more.

Provides 60-80 diapers, or a 2 week supply, per child to partner organizations. To receive diapers, families may visit a partner location near them.

Assists teenage and other at-risk mothers and their infants from conception up to 3 years of age.
