Provides public transit services to all citizens and visitors of Boone, Dallas, Jasper, Madison, Marion, Story, and Warren counties. The service is open for anyone for any reason regardless of age, income, or disability status. All HIRTA vehicles are ADA-accessible.

Provides curb-to-curb rides for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Activities for senior citizens.

Congregate meals available Mon-Fri at 12 pm. Must call the day before to order a meal.

Placement of volunteers at the Center and in the community.

In-home services include home-delivered meals; transportation to and from the Center, tours and shopping, and telephone reassurance.

Transportation for persons with disabilities in Council Bluffs as verified by a licensed medical professional. This is not a demand response service.
Public Transit System (CITIBUS) runs several fixed routes. Each bus is lift-equipped according to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, and has a bicycle rack that will accommodate two bicycles.

Reduced fares are available for unemployed, seniors, disabled, and all Medicare recipients. Davenport Schools students (K-12) as well as Palmer and St. Ambrose college students ride free with current school ID.

Paratransit service is provided for those who are unable to use a fixed route system due to physical or mental disability.
Provides transportation to and from non-emergency medical appointments, grocery stores, food banks and farmers markets.
Accessible transportation for medical appointments, shopping areas, congregate meals, and social activities. May include travel to other counties.

Provides a weekday noon meal to local seniors and Meals on Wheels for homebound seniors. A range of 60-90 meals are served each day.

Paratransit transportation for Siouxland area including, but not limited to, individuals with disabilities:

-- Individuals must complete an application for assistance and 21 days must be allowed to process the application.
-- Door-to-door service is available and costs $3.60 each way.
-- If the individual can get to the curb, then curb-to-curb service costs $3.60 each way. Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is a demand-responsive, ADA accessible, public transit system which provides public transportation services to the general public of Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury counties in Iowa and Southern Union County in South Dakota. Buses are equipped with a mobility device lift.

-- Curb-to-curb is defined as the individual waiting at the curb when the vehicle arrives and the individual is dropped off at the curb.
-- Door-to-Door service is defined as the individual waiting outside the door, and will be delivered to the door at his/her destination.
-- Each rider is allowed one (1) personal care attendant, and this person will ride free of charge. The attendant must be assisting the client or will be charged for the trip. Please schedule the additional person when making the reservation.

ADA complementary paratransit service for people who cannot access the conventional, fixed-route bus network due to a disability or disabling health condition. Clients must be registered to use this service.

MOBY service mirrors the geographic areas, days, and hours of the fixed-route bus network, within mile of each fixed route and a mile radius at the ends of each route. Changes to fixed-route service level (routing, days or hours) will have the same effect on this paratransit service.
