MORE is not able to provide unlimited funds to anyone; however, it is available to provide advice and, if available, some funds to those facing eviction or utility shut-offs. The MORE Center is also a facilitator for Salvation Army assistance.
Those facing eviction or utility shut-off (gas, electric) may visit the MORE Center during regular hours to receive an application. Must provide proof of residence, all family income, 5 day notice to vacate or utility shut-off notice, social security number, and any other pertinent documentation. A case worker will call back to evaluate immediate needs and advise on a course of action.

ECIA is the Coordinated Entry agency in Dubuque County for persons in need of rent or utility assistance, and will assist in directing persons to assistance resources.
Applications for Dubuque County General Assistance rent or utility assistance program must come through a referral from Coordinated Entry partner agencies.
