Financial LiteracyProgram for coaching eligible youth. This matched-savings, asset-buildingprogram includes financial literacy education, asset-specific training andsupport through a dedicated Coach.

Coaches facilitate training while workingone-on-one with each youth as they learn financial capabilities, receiveasset-specific training, build savings, build and repair credit, receivefinancial counseling, and will support them as they save and prepare for anasset match.

The goal is for young adults to achieve economic stability and self-sufficiencyby focusing efforts on increasing earning potential, budgeting, reducing debt,opening personal banking accounts, understanding and appropriately utilizingcredit, saving, and investing.

Housing stability to those at risk of homelessness and the most vulnerable in the community. In addition to assisting with rent and utility needs, case managers assist individuals and families in creating a budget, securing, improving, or maintaining employment, and applying for benefits.

The program allows individuals and families to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and prevent homelessness. This program works in conjunction with the food pantry and the voucher program.

Offers farmers and ranchers mediation as an effective means to resolve agricultural disputes. The mediation process maintains confidentiality, fosters positive relationships, allows participants a voice in the solution and is cost effective.

Free one-on-one clinics are held monthly at various sites throughout Nebraska. Professionals provide education and resources on mediation, farm finances, legal matters, farm succession planning and USDA farm programs.
