Tutoring for children under age 12 from low income families. Dyslexia tutoring available.

Job readiness training class and work experience training and community service opportunities available. Transportation to job fairs (must meet qualifications; determined upon intake). Computer lab available to fill out applications on line. GED classes and adult dyslexia tutoring also available.

Workshops and classes related to financial education.

Helps parents advocate on behalf of their children with learning disabilities. Right to Educate advocate for students with special needs, including dyslexia.

Financial education including monthly workshops to help individuals gain or regain control over their finances. One on one counseling is also available after completing the workshop.

Asset Management Individual Development Account (IDAs) are matched savings accounts which may be used for the purchase of assets such as buying a home, pursuing post-secondary education or vocational training, and starting or expanding a small business.

Opportunity Passport Account program helps youth leaving foster care become financially literate as they gain experience with the banking system. Youth amass assets for education, housing, health care, vehicle, investments and other specified expenses.

Advocacy, including reviewing credit report, preparing financial action plan, assisting with setup of debt repayment schedules, and ongoing review of household budget.

Offers an educational course on home buying for those looking to become more knowledgeable in purchasing a new home. Lessons focus on preparing for home ownership, shopping for a home, securing a mortgage, closing the loan, and being a home owner. Upon completion of the lessons, individuals may earn a homebuyer's certificate to take to your local lender.

To earn a homebuyer's certificate, complete all six lessons and taking/passing the final test earns a homebuyer's certificate. Many home loan programs require completion of a homebuyer course to qualify for a loan. Participants may access the course any time of day from any computer with Internet access.

Renters who complete this program of six modules earn a certificate of completion to show potential landlords and property managers that they want to be reliable tenants.
