Provides county court services to the Marshall County area. Clerk of Court and Court Administration is on 4th Floor of Courthouse, 1 E Main St, Marshalltown, Iowa. There are court proceedings at this location and at the Election Center, 107 S 1st Ave.

The Clerk of Court is the custodian of all court records in law, equity, probate, criminal, juvenile, adoptions, small claims, and traffic. In conjunction to other county offices, the Clerk of Court also draws grand jurors, petit jurors, and talismen. The Clerk of Court also provides assistance and necessary forms needed to file a petition with the court for a legal name change.

Provides a resource for County residents who choose to represent themselves in court or have questions on divorce, child custody, paternity, grandparent rights. Information on legal fees and costs for hiring attorneys is also available.

County Clerk of the Court office. Screens all incoming complaints received from law enforcement agencies. Provides probation services to delinquent youth. Prevention services provided to at-risk youth and their families.

Provides courts services.

Provides circuit court services to Vermilion County residents. The Circuit Clerk is part of the administrative arm of the judicial branch of government. Also collect fines and assessments ordered by the court, to be disbursed accordingly.

Clerk of the District Court, Mental Health Division assists with process of securing involuntary hospitalization of the mentally ill or those with substance abuse issues. Respondent is given a copy of signed application when they are taken into custody. Persons signing the application must be present to testify. Respondent is represented by a lawyer and the applicant is represented by the county attorney. Hearing determines if the respondent is seriously mentally impaired.

The Circuit Clerk can help individuals find court dates, court records (copies are available for a nominal fee) and can assist with court fines. Documents are not available to view online due to the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts policy on electronic access.
