Provides abuse and crisis intervention services to those going through a domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sex trafficking situation. Services include a family violence crisis line, counseling or counseling referrals for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, emergency shelter and transportation, peer support groups, and child advocacy.

Protection order assistance, criminal justice/legal advocacy, and medical advocacy are also available to those who may need it.

Also provides information on the Vine program and gives emotional support during rape exams and police interviews.

STAR Center (formerly know as Regional Child Protection Center) brings together a multi-disciplinary team of professionals in the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse cases in Central Iowa. These services are offered in an easy-to-access, child-friendly location by individuals dedicated to putting the child's health, well-being and safety first.

Drug Endangered Children program (DEC) provides services for infants and children who have been exposed to drugs before birth (or through a parent's illicit drug use or manufacturing). DEC is dedicated to protecting Iowa's children through a multi-disciplinary collaboration of services. Early identification and intervention for children exposed to drugs is the emphasis, so they can live a healthier life.

Provides free training and education about sexual assault prevention to clients' faculty and/or students. Presentations on the following topics are provided to meet the needs of the group requesting services:

- Personal Safety: Children and teens learn important safety rules about home safety, good and bad strangers, good touch/bad touch, tricky people, and safety when traveling.

- Sexual Harassment (adapted to age level): Topics include "What is it", "What can I do to stop it", and "Sexual Harassment: It's Hurting People" (Grades 5-8).

- Bullying: K-1st "It's Not OK to Bully", 2nd-5th "I Was Just Kidding!", 6th-8th "Bullying 101", 8th-12th "Bullies and Harassment on Campus", Teachers and Staff "Strategies for Dealing with Bullies"

- Dating Violence and Healthy Relationships: Recognize warning signs of an unhealthy relationship.

- Sexual Assault and Abuse: Learn common myths, prevalence and effects of sexual assault.

- Mandated Reporting: Learn when to report and how to report.

- RAD Self Defense: Learn self defense skills. For boys and girls (5-11) and women ages 12 and up.

Services accessed after hours via on-call coverage for law enforcement needing immediate assistance with a forensic interview of a child victim/witness.

Advocacy and support for the child victim and non-offending family members throughout the investigation and prosecution of the case, including Court School.

Student Advisory Committee a student-led group that is committed to ending sexual violence and changing social norms within high schools. The committee is composed of students from different high school across the county who meet and plan social events for their peers to raise awareness about sexual harm. Committees are active in both Kankakee and Iroquois counties.

Develops and distributes materials relating to sexual assault and acts as a statewide clearinghouse on programs, services and resources for and about sexual assault survivors. Training programs for advocates, agencies and communities are available to help them enhance their intervention skills and their awareness of the problems sexual abuse survivors may experience. The Coalition coordinates a statewide support and referral service for sexual assault survivors. The Coalition operates a resource library with books, videos, and periodicals.

A comprehensive sexual abuse prevention program offered to preschool through eighth grade children. The curriculum is designed to teach children about patterns of abuse, how to avoid unwanted attention and touches, and to give practical instruction for those who are being victimized.
Safe place for children to be interviewed by law enforcement, case workers, or forensic interviewer once abuse has been disclosed. Provides referrals to mental health services and support groups, and follows the case through the legal system. Assists parents in reporting abuse or following up on reports already made.
