Services to help survivors of domestic violence, older adults, people with disabilities, and immigrant survivors of violence and trafficking:

-- Orders of Protection for people experiencing domestic violence.

-- Divorce, custody, or child support in cases involving domestic violence or child endangerment.

-- Elder abuse, including financial exploitation.

-- Other court orders to stop abuse, harassment, or stalking.

-- Immigration issues faced by survivors of domestic violence and trafficking.

-- Guardianships of minors and adults to ensure safety and stability.

Provides legal representation and services. Includes deportation defense, employment authorization, Temporary Protected Status, U visa, I-601 waiver, and more.

Provides immigration legal assistance to the indigent and to low-income immigrants. Assists some US citizens who need immigration counseling and help with the preparation of a variety of petitions including applications for citizenship. Some services available are, consultation about immigration legal matters, referrals to immigration attorneys and other organizations in cases out of the scope of these services, assists in the preparation of family petitions, legal residency (Green cards) and immigration visas, and assists in the preparation of applications for temporary benefits like DACA, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), Parole in- Place and the employment authorizations associated with those benefits.

With the assistance of an attorney, immigration forms may be completed, including naturalization, green card, work permits and renewals, travel documents, family petitions and Refugee/Asylee Processing.

Provides training and technical assistance to refugees who desire to start a business as licensed in-home child care providers.

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR) administers this program through a network of community-based partner agencies.
