Services to help survivors of domestic violence, older adults, people with disabilities, and immigrant survivors of violence and trafficking:

- Orders of Protection for people experiencing domestic violence.

Sexual Assault Services | YWCA of the Sauk Valley

Provides rape crisis center services available via the hotline. Sexual assault program services include crisis intervention, 24-hours response at medical facilities or police stations, assistance and support with medical and legal procedures, counseling for child and adult survivors of sexual assault.

Domestic Violence/ Sexual Assault | Safe Journeys/ADV & SAS

Provides crisis shelter and comprehensive support services for individuals who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Services include legal advocacy, medical advocacy, prevention education, supportive counseling, sexual assault victim therapy, children's counseling (domestic and sexual violence), and case management. 

Also offers interventions to help domestic violence offenders understand and take responsibility for their actions, develop healthy relationship skills, and address the cycle of abuse. 

Additionally, a domestic violence hotline is available to provide immediate assistance, safety planning, emotional support, legal information, referrals for medical treatment, and connections to ongoing counseling or group support.

Medical Advocacy:

Trained advocates respond to local hospitals 24-hours a day. They can accompany a survivor through the evidence collection and medical treatment process. Advocates provide support, give information about options and rights, and assist with safety planning.

Legal Advocacy:

Legal advocates can assist with navigating the civil and criminal justice process. This includes assistance in filing for Civil No Contact and Stalking No Contact Orders. They can also help individuals assert their rights as crime survivors and accompany them to meetings with officials and court hearings.
