Preschool program serving the needs of low-income children and families. Some locations offer center-based programs, and some offer home-based programs.

Comprehensive child development program serving children 6 weeks to 3 years old.

Staff make visits to the homes of Early Head Start children to assist parents in meeting their family goals.

Parents have the opportunity to be part of a parent committee and/or to volunteer in the center.

Early Head Start provides educational activities through the High/Scope curriculum.

All diapers, wipes, baby food and formula needed during the day are provided free of charge.

Head Start in 12 communities for children ages 3-4 whose families meet income eligibility. 10% of enrolled children can be over income.

Early Head Start is offered to income eligible pregnant women, infants, toddlers to age 3 and their family members in 11 communities. Health, parenting skills, nutrition education, and home safety checks are also provided to participants. Center based care is provided in Columbus and Schuyler.

Early childhood partnerships with 9 area public schools. Offers morning and afternoon center-based sessions for income eligible children ages 3-4 and their families.

Provides comprehensive, individualized services to low-income infants and toddlers up to age 3, as well as pregnant mothers and their families living in Henry, Mercer, and Rock Island Counties, Illinois.

Provides quality, licensed child care and preschool services to children ages six weeks to 12 years old. KidsPoint School Age program includes before and after school care, as well-as all-day care during school breaks, unscheduled school closings, and summer vacation.

Extended day care is provided for children from Kindergarten to 5th grade attending School District 158. Also provided:
- Summer camps
- Seedlings Preschool
- Beyond the Bell (after-school program)
- School's Out (after-school program)
- Special event rental spaces

Head Start gives children, ages 3 and 4, the opportunity to grow and learn in a high quality early childhood setting. Head Start offers half-day, full-day, and homebased options.

Full time, full year preschool and daycare. Provides school-age care before and after school, on early dismissal days, no school days, and in the summer.

Intensive, research-based child development and family support services for families with children from birth to age three, with an aim of building a strong early learning foundation and preparing children for later school success.

SAL Community Services' Prevention Initiative program offers early, continuous child development and family support services in Rock Island County.

The comprehensive year-round program is for families with children currently enrolled in SAL's early childhood programs, including Skip-a-Long Childhood Centers and select licensed homes within our Home Child Care Network. It is also available to new families in the community who are interested in establishing a strong early learning foundation for their children.

-- Educational opportunities, identified in collaboration with parents, on various topics related to early childhood development.

-- Referrals to community resources like funding options for early childhood education and care, housing, food, clothing, mental heath services, and more.

-- Strength-based family goal planning.

-- A resource library for books and toys to support early learning activities in the home.

Designed to make learning fun while preparing children for preschool and kindergarten. Sessions include typical daily routines to increase readiness skills for the school setting, including: circle time, structured play with peers, snack and lunch time, toilet training, and small group activities led by a teacher. Each child receives individual support throughout sessions by a behavior technician.
Provides full time care for children ages 2 years through 5 years. Accept private pay as well as HHS or promise jobs funding. Main goal is Kindergarten readiness.

Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack are provided daily through the CACFP program and Head Start partners with Northeast Iowa Food and Fitness to help children and families learn about healthy, local foods.
