Western Nebraska Child Development Center offers child care services for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age whose parents are full time students. Program is located on the campus of Western Nebraska Community College in Scottsbluff.

Provide eligible preschool children with a comprehensive program that focuses on early childhood education and development, health, nutrition, and parent involvement. Head Start has preschool options for 3 and 4 year old children. Many locations partner with local schools to provide full day service, transportation, and easier transitions to Kindergarten.
Before and after school program provides arts, crafts, games, and an after school snack for elementary age children. Childcare is provided for days when there is no school. Children bring their own brown bag lunch.

Preschool for children 3-5 years old.

Summer program provides licensed childcare for elementary age children. Includes: arts, crafts, games, playground at the park and swimming two times per week. Breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack provided by HHS Summer Food Program. This program is seasonal from the end of school to the start of school.

Home-based early education program for low income families who are expecting a child or have a child ages 0-3. Education and support on child development.
Provides comprehensive early childhood development services to children ages 0-5, including children with disabilities.

Offers child care, preschool, before/after school, school days out, and summer programs, as well as Early Head Start.

All children six weeks to 12 years old are eligible, depending on space available; financial assistance is available to those who qualify through. Language support is available for those whose first language is not English.

Head Start provides free educational and social activities (preschool) for low income children ages three to five. Early Head Start provides free services (childcare) for children prenatal to three.
The Head Start program is a full day, full week preschool experience for low-income and disabled children 3-5 years old. The Head Start approach addresses the educational, health, nutrition, social, mental health and literacy needs of the children. Children participate in activities that promote motor, language, social/emotional, cognitive skills, literacy, science and math. All classrooms provide an inclusive environment for children with disabilities. Nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack are provided daily through the CACFP program and Head Start partners with Northeast Iowa Food and Fitness to help children and families learn about healthy, local foods.
Preschool program serving the needs of low-income children and families. Some locations offer center-based programs, and some offer home-based programs.

Family resource program to support parents in educating and nurturing their children. The program provides parents with opportunities to move toward self-sufficiency by working with other community organizations. Health and mental health services are also provided to participants.

Program helps parents better understand their child's stages of development with individualized visits in the home. The weekly visits are 90 minutes in length and are designed to meet the needs of each family. Staff will assist families in planning activities that encourage the child's growth. Social activities will be held twice monthly to provide the opportunity to interact with your child and other families.

Provides a center-based program available for Early Head Start (ages 0-3) and Head Start (ages 4-5) for part day and full day. Part day is morning or afternoon.

Montessori school provides childcare, before and after school care, and elementary education for children in grades pre-K-6.

Provides full time care for children ages 2 years through 5 years. Accept private pay as well as HHS or promise jobs funding. Main goal is Kindergarten readiness.
