Back-To-School Physicals are provided to K-12 students in need by Des Moines University students, under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Services include physicals, dental screenings, vision testing, and immunizations (as needed). No appointment or insurance required. Vaccines will be available for eligible individuals. Translators available at the event. Free backpacks to all who attend!

This program also provides back-to-school supplies to children year-round who have unexpectedly entered the foster care system. Children placed in foster care outside of the event may email agency to request school supplies.

School clothing is also available from the bus, or families may choose to receive a voucher and shop for their clothing at Second Hand Rose Resale Shoppe in the Effingham Catholic Charities location.
