Additionally, the program offers resources and guidance to support individuals in achieving economic self-sufficiency, including vocational evaluation, training in marketable skills, and referrals for employment opportunities tailored to those facing emotional challenges, substance abuse issues, or disabilities.

Provided to ensure the health of mothers in the Appanoose, Clarke, Decatur, Jasper, Lucas, Marion, Monroe, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Wayne Counties. Services include finding health care coverage, finding a health care provider or dentists, education to promote a healthy pregnancy, evaluate emotional stress and family adjustment to pregnancy and parenting, oral health services, arranging transportation to medical and dental appointments, making doctor appointments, social support and guidance, nutrition education and home visit after delivery of the baby.

Helps to ensure the health of children, birth to 21 years of age in Appanoose, Clarke, Decatur, Jasper, Lucas, Marion, Monroe, Poweshiek, Ringgold, Wayne Counties. Services include help locating a doctor or dentist, finding health care coverage -Title XIX or Hawk-i, reminders for child/children medical and dental checkups, making doctor appointments, help to find community resources, health education and support, oral health services, help with payments for physical and dental exams, blood lead testing, immunizations 0-6 years, 7-18 years and adult immunizations.

Senior Centers offer a variety of programs for senior citizens, including center meals, exercise classes, outreach, information and assistance, social activities, and home delivered meals. Some might offer blood pressure screenings or foot care clinics.

A foot care services including foot soak, examination of feet for ingrown toenails, infection, corns or callouses. Nails will be cut or trimmed as needed, followed by a foot massage.

Offers diagnostic services and treatment for STDs/STIs. Also offers testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, as well as the Gardasil vaccine. Hepatitis A and B immunizations are provided to all STD/STI clinic clients.

Offers access to experienced health specialists who provide information about approved HIV treatment options, assist in locating HIV/AIDS clinical trials across the USA, and offer counseling services for individuals at risk of contracting or transmitting HIV. Counseling includes personal risk assessments, development of personalized action plans, and support for behavior changes to reduce the risk of acquiring or transmitting HIV.

Provides HIV and Hepatitis testing, Hepatitis immunizations, and prescribes medications to help prevent someone from acquiring HIV. PrEP clinic and Hepatitis C treatment also available.

Provides HIV, Hepatitis C, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia counseling and mobile testing services during evening and late-night hours in locations where high-risk behavior (drug activity, sexual activity, etc.) is known to occur. The program also aims to reduce harm by offering sterile injection supplies and equipment to prevent the transmission of blood-borne infectious diseases and other health complications. Supplies may include sterile needles, syringes, alcohol swabs, and sharps disposal containers, among others, and are available to support safe injection practices, including hormone injection for trans, gender-diverse, and two-spirited individuals. The goal of the program is harm reduction in whatever form that might take.
