Clinic services are available, by appointment only, to people age 60 years and over.

Services available may include:

- Comprehensive foot care

- Blood glucose screenings

- Blood pressure screenings

- Cholesterol screenings

- Osteoporosis screenings

- Health promotion education

Provides senior health screenings to older adults. Health screenings include checking on chronic diseases like blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol. 

Provides general medical care services. Including blood pressure screenings, breastfeeding peer counseling, car safety seat program, child and adult immunizations, developmental screenings, family case management, health screenings, Illinois tobacco-free communities' program, lead poisoning prevention program, WIC program, lice education, nutrition education, pregnancy testing, TB screenings and tests, vision and hearing screenings, and the women's health clinic. 

Senior Centers offer a variety of programs for senior citizens, including center meals, exercise classes, outreach, information and assistance, social activities, and home delivered meals. Some might offer blood pressure screenings or foot care clinics.

Reproductive health services for males and females including the following:

- Well health exams

- Blood pressure, weight, and hemoglobin monitoring

- Birth control including Natural Family Planning method

- Pregnancy testing with options counseling

- HIV testing (free)

- DNA testing

- Education on abstinence, prevention, reproductive health, and life plans

Free primary care visits for the uninsured, health care services including physical exams for men, women, and children, health education, flu shots, and mental health screenings.

Preventive care and screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, daycare worker and camp physicals. Chronic disease management. 

Free blood pressure screenings.

Provides information and services related to health and wellness topics, including heart health, cholesterol, blood pressure screening, smoking cessation, diabetes, obesity, and physical activity. Offers blood pressure screenings to identify individuals at risk for hypertension-related conditions, cholesterol and triglycerides tests to assess cardiovascular health, and hypoglycemia screenings to detect blood sugar deficiencies. Additionally, provides diabetes management support, including education on self-management skills, dietary planning, exercise, and prevention of complications. Health education presentations are also available for local schools.

Senior centers offer, pool, shuffleboard, exercise, cards (pitch, bridge and chicken foot), puzzles, socialization with coffee every day and pedicures.

Information and referral services.

Provides the County Public Health Nursing service for Allamakee County. Services include immunization clinics, nutrition education, disease surveillance, home nursing and home care aide visits, blood pressure clinics, foot care clinics, lead poisoning testing and information, and community health and wellness education and advocacy.
