Services include:

-- Assistance with navigating healthcare systems

-- Assistance with connecting to healthcare resources, community organizations, and other supportive programs

Senior Centers offer a variety of programs for senior citizens, including center meals, exercise classes, outreach, information and assistance, social activities, and home delivered meals. Some might offer blood pressure screenings or foot care clinics.

Milford Senior Shuttle runs Mon-Fri 9:30 am-12 pm for doctor appointments, grocery shopping, hairdresser appointments, and shopping in the city limits.

Foot screening and blood pressure screening available, please check the website or call for information. 

Offers diabetes screening, drug and alcohol testing, TB testing (except Thu), urine pregnancy tests, physicals for school, sports, well child, adult, pre-employment. lead poisoning screening, dental care, blood pressure screening and immunizations.

Provides the County Public Health Nursing service for Allamakee County. Services include immunization clinics, nutrition education, disease surveillance, home nursing and home care aide visits, blood pressure clinics, foot care clinics, lead poisoning testing and information, and community health and wellness education and advocacy.

Reproductive health services for males and females including the following:

- Well health exams

- Blood pressure, weight, and hemoglobin monitoring

- Pap tests

- Breast exams

- Breast, cervical, and testicular cancer screening

- STD screening and treatment

- Birth control including Natural Family Planning method

- HIV testing (free)

- DNA testing

- Education on abstinence, prevention, reproductive health, and life plans

Offers free blood pressure checks throughout the county. With assistance of medical agencies also provides diabetic screenings, hearing tests, glaucoma screenings, flu shots, and cholesterol screenings. 

Free primary care visits for the uninsured, health care services including physical exams for men, women, and children, health education, flu shots, and mental health screenings.

Preventive care and screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, daycare worker and camp physicals. Chronic disease management.

--Immunizations are available for persons of all ages. Red Willow County Health Department accepts private insurance and also has programs for free immunizations for individuals without insurance.

--Lab draws are every Thursday morning by appointment. Panel $50.00, PSA $35.00, TSH $30.00, HA1C $25.00, and Vit D $55.00.

--Footcare by appointment only, at $30.00 per visit.

--RWCHD also provides Exercise and Blood Pressure Clinics in the community.
