Programs include job readiness, assisting with job placement and developing skills to aid in job retention, ELL, citizenship, computer skills, resume writing, networking, cultural transition support groups and peer discussions, effective parenting, education and coaching to enhance and promote financial literacy and long-term self-sufficiency, and other skills necessary to compete in the modern workplace.
The programs address the barriers impacting low income and refugee families and their ability to move along the self-sufficiency continuum. Barriers from employment discrimination, language barriers, poverty, family conflict, transportation, financial illiteracy, and much more. Programs and class offerings are designed to be flexible to fit individual needs, and include a "high touch" service model which is both culturally competent and language specific.

Free services and activities also include haircuts, clothing, info on winter safety, info on English classes, police and fire department available, snacks and bottled water, activites and children's books available.

Participants will receive their results immediately after completing the screening. No additional information is required for the screenings. If a health problem is found, the client is referred to the nearest available health clinic.
