Additionally, the program provides Medicaid information and counseling, offering guidance on eligibility requirements, application processes, benefits, managed care options, and the connections between Medicaid and Medicare. Support may include enrollment assistance and referrals to providers who accept State Medicaid health insurance. Free "Welcome to Medicare" seminars are also available, typically held in May and September.
