Those applying for Utility Assistance from G.A. must have an acceptance or denial letter from LIHEAP. Cremation Expense Assistance may be available to those who meet the income guidelines. Medical Expense Assistance may be available for medical/prescription supplies and assistance with transportation to out of town appointments. Serves as the Satellite Office for DHS Forms & Fax for Boone residents. DHS has been relocated to Story County at 126 South Kellogg, Suite 101, Ames, Iowa.
