Winneshiek Medical Center provides urgent care services for patients with minor illnesses and injuries.
Psychiatric Urgent Care provides mental health services to individuals in central Iowa. Services include, but are not limited to, mental health services, psychiatric evaluation and assessment, addiction medicine, crisis services and community resources. On-site coordination to Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services and Orchard Place Child Guidance Center is also available.

Regional Health Services of Howard County offers emergency medical care 24 hours days/7 days a week. Walk-in/urgent care is available to treat minor medical problems and injuries during traditional clinic hours.
Offers an information line operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Provides health information, triage, physician and service referrals over the phone for individuals in need of medical advice.

Support groups offered through Iowa Health Systems: for example, breast feeding education & support group, parents of children with ADD, grief support for parents whose child died, and others.

Patients may seek Urgent Care for injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but not serious enough to require an emergency department visit. Examples may include back pain; bladder or urinary tract infection; cough; cuts, scrapes and bruises; diarrhea; fever, colds and flu; ear pain, swimmer’s ear, ear infection, or wax removal; insect or tick bite; joint pain; minor burn; nausea/vomiting; pink eye; rash; seasonal allergies; sinus and upper respiratory infection; sore or strep throat; strains/sprains; sudden back or neck pain; urinary problems or vaginal irritation/discharge.
Gundersen Palmer Lutheran offers emergency medical care 24 hours days/7 days a week. Walk-in/urgent care is available to treat minor medical problems and injuries during traditional clinic hours.
