Additionally, trained homemakers may assist with routine household activities such as menu planning, budgeting, shopping, child care, meal preparation, laundry, and general household management, including light housekeeping, to support families affected by illness, disability, or other challenges.

Offers nurses, home care aides for personal cares and homemakers for homemaking needs for those who need assistance related to a medical diagnosis which prevents them from being able to manage these functions independently. Health Services no longer provides acute home care services funded by insurances but will provide all similar services as needed to safely assist persons to maintain independence and thus prevent unnecessary institutionalism. Services can be provided along with healing treatments including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social services, and home health aides.
