Provides public health nursing services. Services include adult health maintenance services for medically needy individuals, home health aides, personal care, homemaker services, adult immunizations, foot care clinics, and communicable disease follow-up.

Offers a skilled nursing care and home health care service. Services include: personal care; essential shopping; housekeeping; meal preparation; respite care; companionship and emotional support; personal care; transportation; medication administration and teaching; Intravenous and TPN therapy; wound care; enteral feeding; prenatal and postpartum care; phototherapy; and Telemonitoring of vital signs, weight and blood sugar readings; physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory therapies; lab testing; registered dietitian; and pharmacy consultations. Social workers available to provide assistance in identifying community resources and case management.

Offers home health care services such as skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy. Can also provide Personal Care Aids to assist in light housekeeping, light meal preparation, grocery shopping, laundry, transition care, assistance, respite care. All services are provided in the home.

Services include nursing services, social services, physical, speech and occupational therapy, nutrition counseling, wound care management and assistance with personal care. Home infusion services provide IV and infusion therapies to individuals in their homes under the supervision of an IV nurse.

Offers nurses, home care aides for personal cares and homemakers for homemaking needs for those who need assistance related to a medical diagnosis which prevents them from being able to manage these functions independently. Health Services no longer provides acute home care services funded by insurances but will provide all similar services as needed to safely assist persons to maintain independence and thus prevent unnecessary institutionalism. Call for eligibility or to get information as to where you may be able to acquire home care services.

Offers to work closely with individuals along with the family and doctors to coordinate care and manage health. The team may include physicians, nurse practitioners, home health aides, medical social workers; physical, occupational and speech therapists and more.

Provides services to individuals who have conditions such as congestive heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, muscle-nerve problems or respiratory diseases and are able to be discharged from a hospital or nursing home but need additional care at home. Require short term assistance at home because of same day or outpatient surgery or maternity-related incapacity.

Provides skilled nursing services to persons in their home.

Services provided include

- Home Health Aide: Assists with hygiene care, teaches patients and/or caregivers how to safely bathe and groom the patient, obtains vital signs, looks for abnormalities in skin turgor, and reports any abnormalities.

- Nursing Care: Complicated wound care, IV therapy (including PICC line care and removal), blood testing, staple/suture removal, injections, pre-fill insulin syringes, diabetes education, medication instruction, ostomy and gastrotomy instructions and care, tracheostomy instructions and care, etc.

- Physical therapy.
- Speech therapy.
- Occupational therapy (to re-teach basic living skills).

Offers home health aide services. Allowing clients to continue living at home, including assisted living facilities while receiving medical care. Services include personal care such as showering and bathing, nail care, shaving, oral and denture care, toileting, catheter, and ostomy assistance, exercise “buddy” for range of motion, endurance and wellness, encouraging mobility, including walking with an assistive device, nutrition assistance, including meal preparation and feeding, medication reminders and light housekeeping and chores.

Group homes of four to eight individuals with 24/7 staff support. Dietician-directed meal program tailored to individual needs. Also offers assistance for individuals who live in their own home or apartment but also need help every now and then.

Provides comprehensive, coordinated care and services to patients at home within a 50-mile radius of Ames. In-Home Health Care is typically under a physician's order. Registered nurses are available to provide skilled nursing care and serve as the primary supervisor of other in-home services.

Additionally, trained homemakers may assist with routine household activities such as menu planning, budgeting, shopping, child care, meal preparation, laundry, and general household management, including light housekeeping, to support families affected by illness, disability, or other challenges.
