Offers dental sealants to school children. This program works with Miles of Smiles, who have dentists and hygienists that come into the schools to perform dental exams and place sealants on molars.

Provides dental exams and diagnosis, prevention education, teeth cleaning and polishing, emergency and restorative treatment.

Provides comprehensive health care services, including medical, dental, and behavioral health services, as well as supportive services (education, translation, and transportation) that promote access to health care.

The program targets pregnant women and children under age 21 who are living in Polk or Dallas Counties.

For children under 21 years old, who are without dental insurance and meet income guidelines.

Provides a team of public health dental hygienists and community health workers to bring the Forever Smiles dental health program to child care facilities, schools, and senior care facilities. Services provided are fluoride treatments, sealants, education, and screenings for tooth decay and oral cancer. These services are meant to help slow down or stop dental decay.

The program is not meant to take the place of regular dentist checkups.

Provides medical, dental, and specialized clinics serving low-income, uninsured residents. Services include care for illness and injury, medication assistance, flu immunizations, TB screening, smoking cessation, women's health, mammograms, wellness checks, lab services, chiropractic, physical therapy, health planning, vision, dental services, pediatric care addressing the physical, emotional, and social health of children and adolescents, and podiatry services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of foot-related conditions.

Prevents cavities in early childhood and educate our clients about good preventive dental care. Dental services provided by UI pediatric Dentistry residents and students may include: Oral/Dental exams; Cleanings; Fluoride varnish application; Referral to local dentists for treatment; Gap filling prevention dental treatment; Dental Care Coordination.
Educational programs for students of dental hygiene and dentistry, and graduate courses in the areas of endodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and orthodontics.

Dental treatment for persons of all ages by students under the direct supervision of licensed faculty members. Patients are examined and a treatment plan which includes an explanation of the costs to be incurred is developed.

Provides dental/oral services to veterans that qualify. Services include screenings, cleanings, X-rays, fillings, specialty dental procedures like root canals, restorations and dentures.

Offers emergency and comprehensive dental services to children and adults. Medicaid patients are welcome.

Care For Yourself: Early detection of breast and cervical cancer for women age 50 and over, including mammograms and Pap tests. Must meet income guidelines. Call (515) 281-7689.

Family Planning/Reproductive Health: Offers confidential services for adolescents and adults to help guide decisions regarding reproductive healthcare needs. Clinic hours are Wed 8 am-4:30 pm, Thu 8 am-4:30 pm (by appointment only), Fri 8 am-12 pm.

i-Smile: Dental services for children ages 0-21, including dental screenings, preventive fluoride, dental care education, sealants to children in 2nd through 8th grades, and help making dentist appointments.

Maternal Health: Prenatal program providing information and education to pregnant women on having a healthy pregnancy and getting ready for their baby.

Senior Health: Services for seniors 60 years of age and older, including health education, blood pressure screenings, foot clinics, and the I-Smile Silver program.

WIC (WOMEN, INFANTS, CHILDREN): Nutrition information for pregnant women, new mothers, and mothers with children under age 5. Can provide $50 or more a month for groceries, even if already employed and/or receiving food stamps; must be Medicaid-eligible.
