Offers a variety of employment-related and pre-employment skills training classes throughout the year.

Classes focus on developing skills needed to find and secure employment. Covered topics may include interviewing skills, Microsoft Word and Excel basics, building a resume, job-search basics, communication skills, first impressions, and more.

A team of navigators works to match individuals served by this program with companies/agencies who are hiring in the Omaha metro, Council Bluffs, and Fremont areas.

Provides comprehensive support services to promote personal, academic, and career growth.

Services include academic, pre-enrollment, and financial aid counseling; connection to DMACC's Workforce Training Academy (WTA); pre-employment counseling such as rsum writing and interviewing techniques; and referrals to appropriate supportive agencies.

Additional services include financial assistance for childcare and transportation. The program also supports displaced homemakers and displaced workers by offering vocational assessment, career readiness workshops, job training, job search assistance, and referrals for other specific needs to help them prepare for, find, and retain employment.

Free, 4-week program designed to help unemployed women find employment or pursue educational opportunities. A new cohort begins each month, and up to 10 women are accepted for each session. Participants receive training and one-on-one coaching as they develop a cover letter and resume, strengthen their interview skills, seek employment or education, create a workable budget, navigate community resources, build self-confidence, develop relationships with other women, and learn how to manage stress.

Job training and placement program, with up to 9 months of intensive job training and personal development.

Food Stamp Employment and Training Program provides employment and training services for the purpose of enhancing the participant's employability. Services include an assessment, job search assistance, basic education (high school completion, English as a second language, and adult basic education); this program also pays expenses for transportation and child care for participants.

Education and career guidance to military spouses worldwide, offering comprehensive resources and tools for all stages of career progression.

Free, comprehensive coaching services to all eligible military spouses. Career coaches offer career exploration, education options, information about credential and licensing requirements, employment readiness resume help, and networking opportunities.

My Career Advancement Account Scholarship provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses for the pursuit or maintenance, including continuing education courses, of a license, certification, or associate degree necessary to gain employment in an occupation or career field.
