Provides standard and emergency assistance to Air Force and Space Force families when unexpected financial emergencies arise with no-interest loans and grants. The programs are intended to help meet immediate financial emergency needs and help make a positive step toward a lasting financial solution. Assistance many be in the form of loans or grants.

Assistance programs may help with emergency assistance for rent or utilities, medical or dental care costs, funeral expenses, vehicle expenses (repair, payment, insurance, gas, etc.), pet medical care or transportation to/from an overseas assignment, food, personal hygiene items, child care expenses, and more.

May provide financial assistance for the cremation of remains of any person who dies within the geographic boundaries of Sarpy County or who has legal settlement in the County. Payments may be authorized to any mortuary within Sarpy County, if the estate of the decedent and/or financial resources of the responsible relative(s), as defined by Nebraska Statute 38-1425, is/are insufficient to pay for the cost.

The Burial Assistance fund pays $4,000 to the funeral home of the deceased Tribal Member. A death certificate must be provided and you must complete the Burial Assistance Form to receive and be eligible for this assistance.

Cremation services; not for pre-planning of arrangements.

Offers help to victims with certain out-of-pocket expenses (when costs are not covered by insurance or other sources). It is funded entirely by fines and penalties paid by criminals (not by taxpayers). Program can pay for crime-related expenses such as medical care, counseling, lost wages, and funeral expenses (when costs are not covered by insurance or other sources). Can also pay for crime-scene clean-up, replacement of clothing held as evidence, replacement of security items, child or dependent care, housing/shelter expenses, relocation expenses and travel.
