Application Open Date: 11/01/24 (Date campaign begins accepting toy applications).
Application Close Date: 12/02/24 (Date campaign stops accepting toy applications).
Application Response Start Date: 12/08/24 (Date when campaign will begin reviewing and responding to applications).
Application Response End Date: 12/16/24 (Date when campaign will complete reviewing and responding to applications).

Distribution Start Date: 12/16/24 (First date of toy distribution. Approved applicants will be notified of specific distribution dates and locations. Check website for additional distribution details).
Distribution End Date: 12/17/24 (Date when all toy distributions are expected to be completed).

For those who still have toys that need to be picked up, contact Toys for Tots to arrange to either have them picked up, or have them dropped off to the campaign.

Holiday food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas Toy Shopping.

For Thanksgiving & Christmas 2024:

The 2024 Thanksgiving Food Basket Giveaway is held at the PCM Help Center (6800 P Street, Lincoln) on Saturday, 11/23/24. Giving away 500 Thanksgiving meal baskets to those in need, from 9 am-11 am or until supplies run out.

Free Thanksgiving meal at People's City Mission (110 Q Street, Lincoln). Serving a full Thanksgiving meal to not only all of the homeless in Lincoln, but to anyone who would otherwise be alone on Thanksgiving and could use a meal. Serving at 11:30 am-1:30 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Expecting to serve around 700 meals.

Santa's Workshop Christmas Toy Giveaway for families in need will be held at the People's City Mission Help Center (6800 P Street, Lincoln) on Saturday, 12/14/24 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. Anticipating to help over 5,000 people, including shelter guests and low-income families who shop at the Help Center. Shoppers will need to have a Clarity card to participate. Clarity cards can be obtained at the Help Center each Tuesday from 9-11 am. No appointment necessary.

For Halloween 2024, dates are October 19-22 and October 17-20 and October 24-27, from 5:30 pm-9 pm. The last admission is 8:30 pm. Tickets may purchased at the door, or you may purchase in advance online at www.blankparkzoo.com/events/night-eyes (Advanced purchase recommended). Tickets are $10 for the general admission and $6 for Blank Park Zoo members.

The mission of the program is to collect and distribute new unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to children less fortunate in the local community, ages 6 months-12 years.

Toy Distribution:
Starts 12/7/24, ends 12/15/24. Approved applicants will be notified of specific distribution dates and locations.

Provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Both meals are open to anyone in need.

Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day, 11 am - 1 pm, Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024. Pre-registration is required. Registration will be taken until Nov. 27, 2024. Call the church office for details.

Christmas Day dinner on Christmas Day, 11 am - 1 pm, Wednesday, Dec 25, 2024. Pre-registration is required. Registration will open in early December and will end December 24, 2024.

For Christmas 2023, Christmas gift card applications are available at the following offices during the following dates:

-- Nemaha County - Beginning November 17 and returned no later than December 8. Gift card distribution is December 15; time and location are to be determined.

-- Johnson County - Beginning November 20 and returned no later than December 11. Gift card distribution is December 18 from the SENCA Outreach office between 8 am and 4:30 pm.

-- Pawnee County - Food gift boxes (not gift cards) are offered. Call (402) 297-7427 between November 8 and December 6 to be added to the list to receive a food gift box.

A public charity which raises funds and collects toys/games to be distributed to low income families during the holidays.

DONATE CASH OR CHECK: The preferred method for monetary donations is for the individual or business to send a check or money order to the local Toys for Tots Coordinator, made payable to "Toys for Tots" and mailed to: Toys for Tots Coordinator, Marine Corps Reserve Center, Bldg # 47 Dickman Ave., Des Moines IA 50315.

Christmas assistance/toys and ham (in partnership with Toys for Tots). Registration open Oct 28-Nov 15, 2024. Sign up online at sacedarrapids.org, click on Holiday Assistance. Call for (319) 364-9131 for assistance if unable to do this. Households with children ages newborn up to 14 (on 12/25) can sign up for toys and a ham. Households without children eligible for toys can sign up for a ham.

Christmas community meal, served Dec 19, 2024, 11:30 am-1:30 pm. No registration required; this is a sit-down, in-person meal.

Helps families sign up for Toys for Tots during the holiday season. Sign-ups dates will be posted on the Facebook page as they open for the 2024 holiday season.
