Provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the year. Special holiday meals are offered at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

Celebrate Christmas | Jamieson Community Center

Provides a Community Christmas Store - Children ages birth to fourteen are eligible. Parents pay $5.00 per child to shop. The store will feature NEW clothing, winter apparel, blankets, books and toys for the parents to select from.

Christmas Baskets - Families receive all the ingredients for a traditional holiday meal.

All children, ages birth to twelve, from qualifying families for both programs, will have their names placed on the Angel Tree at Midwest Bank.

Applications are accepted between October 1, 2026, and the day before Thanksgiving 2026.

Single Moms Christmas Dinner | Single Parent Provision

Single Moms Christmas Dinner offered 5 pm Dec. 6, 2025, at Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center at the Iowa Events Center in downtown Des Moines. Includes a catered meal for single mothers and their children. Activities and programming provided for newborns to age 18. Registration is required and closes December 1, 2025. Shoes and Mittens Program | Goodwill of the Great Plains

Holiday program offering shoes, mittens, hats and socks for children.

Registration starts in early October and end November 15th, 2025. The event is held Saturday, December 6th, from 9 am-1 pm. Location is 3100 West 4th Street, Sioux City, IA. 

There will be no pre-registration, and the event will take walk-ins only. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis and only while supplies last. Shoes will not be given out before or after this event. Child must be present at the event to be fitted with shoes and in kindergarten - 8th grade.

Holiday Assistance | Salvation Army - Mason City

Toys for Tots - Sign up opens November 3, 2025, online. For those who do not have an email or access to technology may sign up in person on November 17th and 18th. Distribution is at Salvation Army gym, and one parent does the shopping, individuals will get confirmation on date and times on when to come in to shop. 

Distribution dates are December 16th, 17th, and the 18th. With a make-up day of December 19th, 2025.
