Offers holiday food boxes on Thanksgiving and Christmas to those in need. 

2025 Information:

Offers Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day meals at Crossroads Mission Avenue. Meals start at 1 pm.

Provides canned goods, personal items, and occasional fresh produce/dairy/meat. It is recommended that clients bring their own bag.

Provides Thanksgiving meal box to registered clients during the month before Thanksgiving (a frozen turkey, a bag of potatoes, and food to prepare some of the fixings and sides).

Provides curbside distribution of holiday provisions for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

2025

Provides seasonal meal boxes to families in need for the holidays. We pack and distribute 350 boxes in November for our Turkey Time Together event, and 350 in December for our Family! Feast! These boxes are available by signing up. Information will be provided on the website when availability begins.

December Family Feast - Registration will be available through the Holiday Food Box Collaborative form from November 17, 2025 to November 30, 2025 or until all 500 slots are filled.

Drive-thru-only pantry held two Saturdays each month, and a pop-up outdoor pantry each Monday (food only). Offers perishable and non-perishable items, fresh produce, cleaning supplies, diapers, and laundry detergent washing sheets for 20 loads of laundry.

For Thanksgiving 2025, Thanksgiving pantry is Thu, Nov 20, starting 10 am.

For Christmas 2025, Christmas pantry is Mon, Dec 22, starting 11 am.

Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes and Christmas gift distribution for families in the Tri-City area, all on a registered basis.

Please note: To better process information in a timely manner, TSA asks that registrants bring all of the required documents with them at the time of registration. If residents do not have all the information requested, TSA will be unable to process their request. Also, please leave children at home with an adult due to the lengthy registration process.

Offers a Thanksgiving basket for families in need, first come first serve. Pre-registration is online, after application has been submitted individuals will be added to a list. If a basket is available, individuals will be called and given instructions. Baskets will be delivered on November 22nd, 2025. 

Thanksgiving baskets and Christmas toy assistance for 2025 dates and times to be determined.

Thanksgiving Assistance 2025 - Meal vouchers will be given for Thanksgiving 2025. Must visit in person for services, first come first serve basis. Decatur County may accept up to 60 individuals. Wayne County may accept up to 25 individuals.

For Thanksgiving 2025, the free community meal is held Thursday, November 27, from 11 am-2 pm.

THANKSGIVING: Offering Thanksgiving baskets to individuals that shop at the pantry during regular working hours starting November 10th, 2025, cannot guarantee on ham, turkey, chicken, assistance is first come first serve, no pre-registration required  CHRISTMAS: ** Agency is not sure if they will be offering food assistance for Christmas, call agency for information**

Offers a turkey or ham to cook at home. Sign up will end Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

NOT ABLE TO OFFER IN 2025, possibly in 2026

Thanksgiving food basket program. Provides $35 voucher to purchase Thanksgiving food at Save A Lot grocery store. The applicant will be given a voucher at the time they apply.

Thanksgiving meals delivered to seniors and those with disabilities.  Please call to register for home delivery by November 15, 2025.

Thanksgiving Food Box preorder forms for 2025 available at the pantry, area churches, library, senior center, Christian charity, Bertrand Village office and Loomis Bank.

Preorder forms due November 7, 2025.

Delivers a Thanksgiving meal to older adults ages 60 and older.

Individuals must order meals by November 19, 2025.

For Thanksgiving 2025:

Provides Thanksgiving food boxes to Richardson County low-income households who can use help with groceries.

Proof of Richardson County residency is required; no paperwork otherwise.

Provides 1 pantry per household.

As of Oct 20, call to request a pantry and schedule a pickup time; supplies are limited.

Available at SENCA's Richardson County Outreach Office (Richardson County Courthouse, Room 101 - Falls City).

Provides a Toys for Tots sign up option for those needing help with Christmas gifts. Children must be under the age of 14 to participate. Visit the Angel Tree website to sign up: https://saangeltree.org/

Provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families unable to create a meal themselves. There are two options for a meal - a homemade meal offered at the facility on the holiday or, can provide a Christmas dinner box to struggling families. Each box feeds a family of six and includes meat, potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, biscuits, cake mix and more.
