Provides assistance with personal care such as bathing, laundry, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, budgeting, and additional activities of daily living. Primary care is their primary focus. Our home care aides undergo a 75 hour certified nursing assistant course and continually receive additional education throughout their career this allows them to be able to assist with rehabilitation and exercise therapy as well.

Provides long-term care to help veterans and their families when dealing with a disability, chronic (long-lasting) illness, or serious health issues related to aging. Long-term health care services include 24 hour nursing and medical care, physical therapy, and help with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, making meals, and taking medicine.

Offers nurses, home care aides for personal cares and homemakers for homemaking needs for those who need assistance related to a medical diagnosis which prevents them from being able to manage these functions independently. Health Services no longer provides acute home care services funded by insurances but will provide all similar services as needed to safely assist persons to maintain independence and thus prevent unnecessary institutionalism. Provides in-home assistance to seniors to help them remain independent in the home. Services include case management, home care aid (non-medical in-home care to assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, housework, meal preparation, and transportation for essential errands), emergency home response system, automated medication dispenser, and money management.

Care Coordinators can also assist older adults and their caregivers in finding options when leaving the hospital or long-term care center.

Offers public health services to the Keokuk County communities. Services include home care services and home care nursing, health care programs for women and children, prenatal care, general physicals, immunizations, blood pressure screenings, mental health administration, early childhood development, and environmental health services. Also provides information on communicable diseases.
