Services include encouraging active thinking and light exercise, errands, friendly conversation, homemaker services, meal preparation, planning social activities, pet care assistance, snow removal and lawn care, and transportation assistance.

Provides employment opportunities in home repair and provides services for homeowners keeping homes safe and in good repair. Typical work orders include minor carpentry, electrical and plumbing projects/repairs, small painting projects/touch-ups, lawn care (mowing, yard work), gutter cleaning, window and screen repairs, and many miscellaneous and seasonal projects. Technicians are typically retired workers (although not always) who have learned home repair from years of personal experience.

Foster Grandparents provide service to children with special needs in schools, Head Start or Health facilities. Volunteers who are age 55 and older and meet income guidelines agree to serve a minimum of 10 hours per week and receive a tax-free stipend of $4/hour and other benefits.

Senior Companion Program provides older adults with special needs assistance in their homes. Volunteers who are age 55 and older and meet income guidelines agree to serve a minimum of 10 hours per week and receive a tax-free stipend of $4/hour and other benefits.
