Luther College provides two service days each year where staff and students volunteer to assist Decorah community residents with household and yard chores. There is one day provided each spring and one day each fall.

Also offers companionship to those in need of friendly visiting.

Foster Grandparents provide service to children with special needs in schools, Head Start or Health facilities. Volunteers who are age 55 and older and meet income guidelines agree to serve a minimum of 10 hours per week and receive a tax-free stipend of $4/hour and other benefits.
